Mental Health

  • Will provide direct government support to 50+ Clubs throughout the province (18)

  • Will implement a Dementia Management Program (4)

  • Pledges to improve access to a wide-range of healthcare professionals available for homecare and home support programs to help keep seniors in their homes longer (4)

  • Pledges to invest an additional $10 million into the Newfoundland Prescription Drug Program for seniors to add an estimated 8,750 seniors (6, 7, 22)

Public Private Partnerships
  • Believes that some public-private partnerships may be a good way to expand care in the province while saving taxpayer money, but would only engage in one if the same public standards, safety procedures, and staffing levels all apply (9)
